Join the Community, Participate in the Conversation

The beauty of online social-networking is the ability to connect with people across the planet.  No longer are we limited by the constraints of mere physical geography. Now, your sphere of influence and community can include almost anyone.

Join the conversation.  Contribute when you like, or just listen. We invite you to join in the discussion and make Adventism a better reality.  Ultimately, we all want to reflect Christ's character in a way that glorifies Him - and Him alone.

Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or subscribe to the feed here.  Whichever works best for you!

No matter your persuasion, your theology, your age, or your gender - everyone is welcome to participate in the conversation.  We'd love to have you on board!

  1. So this is a community? Right now I am responding to that idea. What is a community? Here it seems to be a discussion of impersonal religious thoughts or disillusionment with religion--the SDA church.
There are a lot of voices critical of the church, and they are usually right. Does someone--anyone have a positive experience?
Who are these people who talk about transparency? Where and how do they live--are they happy and do they minister to others here? I don't think it is a social network. And it does seem mostly male.
Right now I am grieving over the loss of my sister last Monday. This is some sort of escape I think.

  2. Dear Ellamae, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. What a terrible loss.

Please forgive us if we don't quite have our act together, as far as being a true community yet. I just took over as the editor/moderator and I am just now introducing this idea - this concept.

As we branch out into Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, and other avenues, it is my hope that we can recreate some of the common-unity that is church, that is reality, and that is chaos. It is my hope that we can create some connections online that are transferable to the offline world. It will take some time, but it is possible.

Please be patient, we have a ways to go.

Again, please know I'm sorry about your loss - and know that you and your family have been lifted in prayer.
